Rotating Merged Routs?

Hi all. Is there a way that I can rotate a merged route?

As you can see in the below photo, I want to rotate the area within the black bands so it is going vertical.

Not much help to be had, I'm afraid. Because of details of the internal file structure of how a route is mapped in Trainz, it is not possible to rotate a route, or even part of one. You will need to delete the existing boards that are oriented wrong , and create new ones in the desired orientation.

Hi Mjolnir. Thanks for the fast reply. Shame that routes can't be rotated as I'm sure a lot of users would like that ability.

What you could do is copy the individual baseboards, rotate that and past it and in that way "rebuild" the route in a different direction. Once you did that, you can merge the now correctly turned route.

Just make sure you don't paste over any fixed track, portals, or rail gates with tracks, otherwise the tracks will be there forever in surveyor.
