What is the font shown on the long hood?

Looks like a squished arial.

Tried that, didn't look good.

Arial is probably as close as your going to get unless you make your own. Most Railroad Companies back in the day used custom 'fonts' for their logos. If you can get me a more 'head-on' picture of the lettering I can try and narrow it down to a more specific MS font.

Come to think of it there is a free RI font out there as well, I'm not sure if it is the correct one or not.
