Road Traffic

I have spent the last few days trying to rectify the traffic problem IE "no traffic on roads".
I have found and read about everything on this subject and still cannot - despite following the procedure - get traffic to appear.
Previously traffic on this route and using same roads etc. was OK.
Can someone tell me if the following extract from the route config file is at fault ?

Sorry to bring up a well worn subject BUT I cannot solve this one without help from one of our expert trainzers.

Hello Ron,

You are probably using cars that are still scenery items. Past TRS2009, cars have to be of kind 'trackside'. This involves cloning each car and changing kind 'scenery' to kind 'trackside', then utilising the clones.

If you ask me, the change was a very silly idea indeed. But it's now what we have to get used to.

Using a search and replace utility, such as Search and Replace Master

http://www.knowlesys.com/software/search-and-replace-master/

The config.txt file for the region can be updated easily. You type in the old config you want to replace, put in the new one, and it replaces all instances of it. You can also edit more than one config.txt file if they all have the same error, or you want to make the same change to a bunch- open the assets up for edit, run search and replace master on the userdata/edit folder... and it will change 'em all at once.
