Riding in coaches?

Malc
Does this mean you can add interior views to any carriage. Eg. Use one of Mike10's interiors to any carriage that does not have a rideable interior. I'm intrigued.

Ken

An invisible interior can used for a carriage that has an interior that is built as part of the main mesh so long as you add the a.cabfront attachment point and add the camera positions and outside-visible-from-cabin 1 to the interior config. This puts the camera inside of the main mesh.

Any interior that is a separate asset can be used, again so long as you add a.cabfront to the main mesh and add camera views to the interiors config. this loads the interior when you switch to cab view. Somewhat obvious but the interior needs to fit the coach you are using it on.

Camera positions are worked out by using -freeintcam in trainzoptions.txt the positions appear on the bottom left of the screen when you move around in driver.

A very tiny mesh made in gmax, blender etc same as assetX can create for an invisible shadow. Technically it's not really invisible, just too small to see.

Thanks again Malc I'm trying to learn Blender (for the second time) I'll try that some time it could be quite interesting as I really like carriages but some of the best ones do not have rideable interiors (Andi's for example).
