Request for a DEM map.

After returning to Trainz a few weeks ago after a six-year sabbatical I am in the preliminary stages of researching for the NSW Main North between Wingham and Grafton.
With the family home located at Kendall from 1948 to 2004, this was where I was brought up and where I did most of my boyhood train-travel, predominantly between Kendall and Sydney. (I also had a good mate whose dad was a train driver based between Taree and Wauchope. We used to hang out in the school hols in the yard at Kendall and occasionally in the cab of the loco )

I have acquired the Curve & Gradient information for this line (West Maitland to Grafton) from the ARHS in Sydney, and have the Track & Signal CDs, both of which are essential for a realistic representation of real life, but without a DEM-elevated terrain, the task is more imprecise and time consuming.

So I am just wondering if anyone out there has DEM data for this part of the world which can be used as the basis for a Trainz route creation?

Dad was a Special Class Guard based out of Taree so i know Kendall well, As for the DEM Garry ( Jerker ) over at Victrainz would be the man to ask as if he hasn't already made that particular area then i'm sure he could point you in the right direction. http://www.forum.victrainz.com.au/index.php Pretty sure you have to register.

We lived at 5 Railway St., just down the road from the station and not far from the level crossing (which had gates on them when I was a kid.)
Used to jump off the railway bridge into the river!
Dad managed the Co-op from 1948 and into the 1960s, before retiring and doing part-time accountancy work with local timber-millers, etc.
He was also the manager of the RSL club there from its founding circa 1950 until it became the services club in the late 1970s.
A lovely town and area to be a kid in the 50s & early 60s.
