Reorientating a route

Is there a way to reorientate a route so that north/south becomes east/west - ie to turn the compass through 90 degrees to enable it to be merged to another map from a different angle?

Good point David, I nearly mentioned the cut & paste onto new boards method but do not consider it very practical, I think it would require a PC with a fair amount of available RAM for starters. I never had much luck in getting the trackwork to line up with cut & paste but copying a whole board would help I suppose. Might be OK for smaller routes but I would not like to do the ECML that way !

As I said in the thread linked to, the view distance at which the tools cease to work is too small to see a whole 720x720m board at once. To help with this, I've made a simple surveyor-only object to help with copying and pasting a whole board, PM me if you're interested in this.
