Reinstallation of 2010 engineers edition

I had to reinstall 2010 edition but when I come to run it says the build is out of date. For the life of me I can't find the appropriate patch. My build is 42203

I'd be grateful for some advice on this.

you need this patch for 2010

this will bring you up to date

If you want multiplayer then there is one more patch but this is all you need to do for single player.

You will most likely have to register 2010 to get these patches.

Please note - To avoid any complications while patching, we recommend doing the following:
Please clear out the Temp folder on your computer. When you are ready to install the patch, disconnect your internet connection and shut down all programs (including anti-virus and similar). Now run the patch. We recommend that you leave the patch to install overnight, and that you do not use the computer whilst the patch is being installed. You may also want to try installing the patch under Safe Mode in Windows.


Follow these instructions also. Safe mode is a bit OTT though.

Registration of your TS2010 is strongly recommended (if not required) to install the patch.

Also note if you have changed systems or anything similar that you may need a DirectX update if you haven't already.

Remember that it will take a while, so it is best to leave it to do it's job.
