registering number fail

so....i never tried to do this till now but with my trainz 2012 for some reason when i click on the start/play button it says I NEED to update trainz2012 and to put in my serial code....so i go to the auran website log in go to the enter serial place (or whatever) put my serial in......and it ether (because i tried this a few times) one: sends me to the log-in page two: say its not valid......however i did get this from a friend....so is there a chance that this game was never paid for?or...just the code is funky or something

If your friend registered it previously you are out of luck. It can only be registered once.

You can order it directly from N3V http://www.simulatorcentral.com/simulators/trainz-simulator-12.html

You can get it from Steam, maybe Amazon. As far as regular stores, check any store that sells computer games, they might have it. I suggest just ordering it direct from N3V. The Anniversary Collector's Edition is on sale right now.

yeah but when i clicked on the anniversary collectors edition ...it gave me the normal $150 price

Thank you for reporting the price issue on the 10th anniversary edition. I have passed this on to our shop admin, however he is not in the office at this time, so it may be a little while before he can look into it. We will have the price corrected as soon as possible.

In regards to the serial number registration issue, please contact our helpdesk ( http://support.auran.com/ ). However, based on the description you have supplied, it does appear that the serial number has already been registered.

If your friend gave you the DVD edition, then another option would be to purchase the Digital Download edition of TS12 from our store. The serial number from this should work with the DVD edition.

Just in case, you have selected the right version of TS12 when trying to input the serial number?, need to click the arrow and scroll down to the TS12 that matches your version.
