Hi all,
I am new to this TRS10 and it looks great but have found a few glitches along the way, is there a patch for it and also i have found that some routes and sessions require refuelling at loco fuel depot at the end of missions for instance yet you dont use fuel for the locos cause there is no gauge that works for them and also does not name on the map as to where it is or how you know its refuelled, any help on this?
cheers joe

Hi Joe --

" ... some routes and sessions require refuelling at loco fuel depot at the end of missions ... "

Mine?

If so it's just poetic licence to round off the session. Just go to the refuelling point, hand the loco over to the next crew, walk over to the Crew Hut, sign off and catch a lift home.

Phil

Hi Phil, thats just it where is the refuelling point as it dont say on map and what is a crew hut and how do you sign off, sorry all new to this
cheers

Press the 4-key to go into the free roam view.

Use the mouse to find the refueling point - if it is for a diesel locomotive it should have an elevated horizontal cylindrical metal tank on a wooden frame and a hose device to add fuel to the locomotive's fuel tanks. Like this:

Maybe even a sand tower at some locations. There may also be coaling facilities if it is co-located with steam locomotive facilities.

Press the 2-key to jump back to the loco. Park the loco at the refueling point.

" ... what is a crew hut ...

A building where the crews sign on/off or play pool and drink coffee between shifts. It's usually close to the refueling point.

... and how do you sign off ... ."

That's the pretend bit. If you are satisfied that you have finished, press "Esc" and exit.

" ... sorry all new to this."

That's OK - we were all beginners once (though some of us oldies tend to forget what it was like in our early days).

Hi Phil,, Ah yes lot easier with pics, thanx a bunch for your help :)
in the menu it says achievements and i dont have any, i thought when you finish a session you may get some notice to say you are done and its recorded or something like that. thanx again for your help, i believe its your layout i was playing the Ogden one, did you build that cause it has your name on it, veryy goood
Thanx again

" ... when you finish a session you may get some notice to say you are done and its recorded or something like that."

Nope. Not on the PO&N.

The pat-on-the-back is only for those routes who employ quiche-eating Prius-driving chardonnay-sipping wimps.

On my routes we only employ real men who drive pick ups, eat bacon and egg pies and drink Duff. Real men know when they've done a good job and don't need a "well done, you have scored 10 out of 10, and have now progressed to Driver First Class".

(Said in jest, of course.)

Phil

Lmao, funny stuff :D Il make sure i eat plenty of egg pies and drink dozens of Duff to keep my energy levels up to keep the diesel goin,,, all after the work is done of course :Y:
Thanx again for your help Phil
Cheers Joe
