red letters

iam curius about the red letters that appear in suveure after you down load a idem on the surveyor map and you close out? and then you open it up again the next time and it disappears and you get the red letters on the idem list and you can't download it again i have 04-06 and it is the first time it has happened in 2009, it seems like it happens when i get online to the trainz cmb that it goes haywire. if you would let me know if i am in the right place to ask thank you

In 2010 if an item is in red letters it's faulty and you can't place it in surveyor.

I am running 2010,and all Andis switches etc. are red but they seem to work ok in surveyor....I think it depends on how many dependancies are missing...L

If an item is faulty (will have a red ! icon in Content Manager) or has faulty dependencies (red puzzle piece icon with ! on it in Content Manager) then it will not work if TS2010 is in Native mode. In Compatibility mode you can try to use the item, but it might not work correctly. (Most of the errors I've seen are trivial things.)

If an item is missing dependencies, it might (not quite sure about this) show up in red in Surveyor. In Content Manager however it would have a yellow puzzle piece icon with a ? on it.

I've also seen items with pink text in Surveyor and don't quite recall what that means.
