As i am about to start a new project, my most ambitious yet{or foolish} I did read in a forum that you can overlay from google maps onto Trainz? maybe im wrong. If you can how do you do it and is there any special program to help.
Currently I have just google mapped it and printed the map and start to try and follow it. If anyone can give any info much appreciated.

its called a DEM program. im not sure, never really tried, but i think they cost money to bjy the program. give it time, people on here know alot about these "DEM" programs

Sean lee, the program is called TransDEM. I think it is around $30 and if you want "real" places this program is a must. I was skeptical at first but once I did buy it and learned how to use it I can't imagine not having it. Best money I even spent on this game/obsession :hehe:
