Hi,

I am wondering, I have this situation...

I am currently at vacation, and I am long away from home, and my home computer is left at home. I bought Trainz 2010, and want to play it here on my friends computer using the Serial Number i got and then unistall Trainz (so the S/N gets deleted + the game) when I am going back home and then use the Serial Number again when installing Trainz 2010 on my home computer. Is that possible? Or if you used it at one computer once, you cant use it again if reinstall or computer move?

Strangely enough, that should not be a problem. All you need to do is use the same username and password as when you originally registered the serial number. You will not need to re-register unless you have forgotten your username/password, which you need to contact Helpdesk for them to sort it out.

I AND MY NEGHIBOUR FRIEND BOUGHT ONE COPY AND INSTALL IT ON 2 DIFFERENT PC'S USING SAME KEYS ALL WORKS FINE

OK if that the case then what happen when he leave and forget to uninstall it? Can his Friend still use it, His friend won't need to enter a password to use the game from then on? The only problem i see is if by chance they try to DL something at the same time right? This seem illegal to me.

Probably the most appropriate thread to post this in, having done a quick search... I recently reinstalled TRS2006, and am unable to use the content manager as my serial number is apparently not registered. When I attempt to register this on the website, I get an error message saying the number has already been registered - yes, it has, by me! Any ideas anyone? Cheers

That's what I thought, but apparently not :S

I'm logged in to both the website and the CMP on the same account, but whilst I can view content in the download station i'm unable to download anything.

In CMP: "You need to register your serial number in order to download" (or words to that effect, can't quote word for word as it's just frozen :o).

On the website: "Note:
The Serial Number has already been registered.

Important:
  • Serial numbers may only be registered once and are not transferable.
  • This registration facility is monitored and misuse will record user details.

Registered Serial Numbers

You have no registered Serial Numbers."

I assume you are using the same account you were using before - if this is the case, you will need to contact Helpdesk as they are the only ones that can resolve serial number issues.
