Rayonier #2 Willamette Loco steams again

For the logging fans.
The last Willamette ever built cn34 has been restored by the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railway crew. It was the loco that inspired both Lima to build the "Pacific Coast" Shay and Heisler to make the "West Coast Special" in response to Willamette's great performance in the Pacific Northwest. Many folks mistake this loco for a Shay but it is not. Check it out:

Wonderful News in the Preservation Community!

A truly rare engine and steam at that, how wonderful!
I've always been a fan of Mt. Rayonier Scenic, beautiful Line with some neat power.
I first saw this line when I was five in a kids train video.
