RAM usage in TS2010

Operating under a x64-bit operating system, how much RAM can TS2010 actually use? I have 2GB of DDR2-800mhz RAM and I was thinking of adding another 2GB stick in an attempt to hopefully improve performance somewhat. Now I see gaming systems with 8, 9, and 16GB of RAM! How much of that RAM is actually being used by Trainz, and how much is sitting there looking pretty? Is it worth is to put in 8GB of RAM in a dual-channel configuration?

Thanks for any thoughts all! Cheers.

I believe 4, although I have yet to see it use more than about 2Gb with all the processes - Trainz itself, TADDaemon, etc. - combined.

The most trainz would probably use is 2GB, an extra 2 would allow smoother operation of the OS in the background however. Not to mention allow better multitasking depending on what your up to. :)

I RECOMMEND THAT YOU SHOULD ADD A 2GB MORE
i have 4 gb ram ddr2 800 mhz and when i run trainz and checked many times that whuile running trainz 2.2 to 2.5 gb ram is free out of 4096 mb total
i have also 64bit operating system
