Railfanning the CP Escanaba sub

Well, wile i was at home I saw a CP freight passing by.

Well, being the railfan i am, I couldn't resist jumping in the car and driving after it. I met the train at a railroad crossing so i pulled over and watched it go by

I snapped this pic out the window wile driving down the road to meet up with it later, I almost had an accident taking this pic...

I saw this awsome shot wile driving down the road, so i rushed out to get it. I snapped off the pic, then tripped over a pothole, spraining my ankle.

Well, at the hospital to get my sprained ankle treated, I was crossing the bridge over the track in a wheelchair, still clutching my camera, I snapped off this pic of the train passing below.

After getting my ankle treated, I was driving home and cought the train on it's way back at a crossing.

As the train rolled off into the distance, I recalled the day, and went back home.

ouch thats gota hurt!!!
those look more like box cars then coal cars......ohh well great shots anyway!
 
Great pix and love the story...I will have to take some from this line.....I used to live near Esky
