I've got one, it does make the sim a lot more realistic. Moving the levers on the Rail Driver makes a corresponding movement in the cab. I find when having to brake often to slow a locomotive it is much more realistic. I like the rows of buttons for throwing the switches ahead and behind, switching views, panning with the joystick button, etc. to be easier. Pricey? Yes, but built pretty substantially, it's a heavy item and has a built in subwoofer system too. Mine was a gift from my loving wife.

I love my raildriver, but am having problems with the damm throttle!!! Thats it though... Other than thats i say hell yea its worth it!!! :hehe:
