Question - ShipIt and Trainz

Is anyone using ShipIt with their Trainz routes? If so, are you using printed switch lists or have you integrated them into trains? Specifically I'd like for the switch list to pop up in a window when I click the Driver Information icon. If anyone is doing this or something similar, I'd appreciate information on how it's done. I can print the switch list to a file (xms or pdf), but I don't have a clue about how to get Trainz to display it. If you know of a link to documentation/tutorials on how to create Driver Information that would be appreciated as well!

Thanks

The closest thing to ShipIt in Trainz is the CMTM System. It presents the destination of a car in a pop-up window. It uses a database that you create similar to what you have to do for ShipIt. It is fully integrated into Trainz. There is a switchlist enhancement in the works that will list more than one car in the window. It also supports multiple days of operations. Like ShipIt or any other Ops program, it requires some significant set-up, but the payoff is BIG if you like prototype operations.

Here is an introductory article http://www.virtualrailroader.com/reading.html

Here is the Manual http://www.gaurc.us/crewroom/dap/Car Movement & Traffic Management System 0408 Release.pdf

Version 2.0 is about to be released. It will support automatic change of days and multiple days in the Portal Timetable Rule. This will allow you to have different trains emitted on to the route for different days.

I have just finished adding Switchlist to the CMTM system. It will list all the cars in a train along with their individual destinations and empty/load status. It will need some beta testing, but it seems to be solid. I just finished classifying over 100 cars using it and it worked great every time.
