Hi all.

I have a question regarding Arraial's US- Firetruck NYD. There is something in the Config file:

dayloop
{
repeat-delay 0,225
distance 20,200
ambient 0

What does this mean? And is there something I could do to this to make the lights run all the time day and night (right now they only work at night.)

If you have SP1-HF4 installed, you'll get blaring sirens when the fire engine drives by.

Not to Hijack this thread(Well, maybe yes :-) ), but where in a vehicle's config file would I be able to lower the instances of random sounds? Specifically, when in Driver mode I would like to drastically reduce the frequency that road vehicle drivers are laying on their horns, or the sirens are going off. Right now in my Reading Northern session I feel like I have got a 10 alarm fire going on somewhere! I don't relish the thought of editing each config file, but I will to get some peace in the countryside.

This has probably been covered in some other thread, but I cannot get the forum search function to bring back meaningful searches in general so I have had no luck finding my answer trolling threads.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!

example is in the first post. that sound configuration should allow you to lessen or remove the horns. i too became very tired of hearing all the horn honking from the cars all the time.

You can remove the sound container, however you may experience some unpleasant results. You can change the sound to a silent sound. Use the Windows Recorder to record silence, and substitute it for the noisy sound.

Can't patch to HF4 because I got rid of some .dll speed tree file from the plugins to increase framerates....oh well

I reckon that was my fault - sorry. I shouldn't have uploaded that infernal video.

To get the .dll file back, you can install a temporary copy of TS12, copy the file over, delete the temporary install, then patch the current one.

Kieran.
