Whos on First?
Hello, From a post here on the forum I found http://www.settleandcarlisle.co.uk/.
I downloaded all of the MK1 coaches. Then I see missing content. So I go back and read the instructions about needing S&C.(insert male joke here)
But then under the download link it state that "all required interiors included".
The missing items are interiors.
So I'm confused. (Again insert joke here) What am I missing?

Also could somebody clue me in on what all of these stand for:
Code:
BCK, BFK, BG, BSK, BSO, CK, FK, FO, RB, RBK, RF, RFO, RK, RKB, RMB(97), RMB(99), RSO, RUO, SK, SO, TSO
I do realize it has to do with types, Brake,Restaurant,Kitchen etc.
Thanks for any help:)
Kenny

Edit And what order might the go in a usual consist?

I'm sure I'll get yelled at by the UK trainzers around here, but I'll give it a go and test myself!

B- Brake/Buffet (Depending on the car...)
C -Corridor (Hallway in case you didn't know)
G-Guard
S- Second (Class)
O-Open
F-First (Class)
T-Tourist (TSO-Tourist Second Open)
R-Restaurant
K-Kitchen? (probably means that when combined with R)

....I'm sure I'll get yelled at by the UK trainzers....

No yelling please it's 4am here!

Close my friend (but no cigar) ........

The combinations of letters were a bit more complex. The best link I can think of is:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Railways_Mark_1

Go to the "external Links" section at the bottom of the page and run your mouse over the "Mark 1" coach codes link for a short (tooltip) explanation, or click on the link for the full details of each build.

Have fun.

Yea, I was just running down the letters, not the combinations...I remember seeing a website with all of them outlined, but for the life of me I cannot remember it or figure out where I found it!

And don't worry about the cigar! I don't smoke :p

Interiors? :D .... but seriously you could be missing some dependancies which were (only) included in the S&C pack. If you go into Content Manager and right click on one of the coaches, and select "View Dependancies" you will see the KUIDs that are missing. If you are into UK locos and stock then I would recommend that you buy the S&C add on - well worth it for the locos and stock alone, plus the S&C web site is updated, usually weekly, with new (quality) items.

Many and varied is the simplest answer.

Google for "train formations br" you will geta few hints and tips from the (mainly model railway) sites that are listed.

.......the website says "all required interiors included" so kind of confusing......

I will have stern words with Mr Banfield (mike10) who runs the site :D .

However I have to say (and I quote from the sites welcome page):

"Note: The content made available through this website is for use with TS2009:S&C.
You will also be required to have added it to TS2009:WBE or TS2010 in order to be able to install the content."

Confusion is a wonderful state - now, where did I put the cat (or was it the dog) ????

All required interiors are included if you have S&C (which will have the ones which are required, but not included)

Some of the coaches (and other content on the site) will have dependencies which are only available in the S&C Pack, like the bogies and/or interiors.

The idea was to provide content only of use to people who had bought S&C to thank them for buying it, Auran bundled some of the dependencies into TS2010 though, so that screwed that idea and now means it is a mess because some of the content works for people who don't have S&C.

Mike.
