Query about 06 and 09 versions

If I build a route/layout in Ts09, which contains virtually all TS06 content, is it still viable too run in TS06 or is it confined to TS09 since it was made in TS09 surveyor?

I have a copy of Trainz Complete Collection coming in the mail, My wife saw it for sale while away seeing family and bought it for the bargain price of $9.99 bargain bin sale plus $4.00 postage, So if worst comes to worst I can make routes in TS06 and import too TS09 as well as building in TS09. I just want too be able to share my layouts etc with more of the community, since a lot seem to still use TS06.

No, TS2009 made routes cannot be used in previous versions. There are changes to the code that cause the layout to not load. In fact, it can even happen between different build numbers.

Thanks Zec, its what i thought but glad too have that confirmed. Think I may do alot more in TS06 then atm.
