Queensland Rail Maps

Hi all,

Haven't posted in a while, but I thought I'd update you guys on whats been going on.
I've recently been employed by Queensland Rail as a Mechanical Engineer (dream job, lol). So, I found out off my manager recently that I have access to electronic copies (PDF) of the turnout maps (with radius of turnouts, etc), and apparently the speedboard maps too (though I haven't found them yet) for Queensland, so anyone interested in building Queensland based routes, drop me an e-mail and I'll see what I can do!

Hi Garrad

I'm also an employee, welcome aboard. I believe there's nothing wrong with you using that info yourself, but be VERY sure there's nothing wrong with sharing that info before giving it out to non-QR people. Not 100% sure on the policies but I'd hate to see someone get into trouble for something like that.

Lots of this stuff is already freely available on the QR public website if you search around a bit. Same with ARTC track diagrams & data on their website.
