Quality loss???

If you download a route from another user on the download station, do you lose gaming performance when you download the route instead of creating the route yourself?

I have never had any problems when I have downloaded routes from the DLS, so you should be ok.

There is no reason that you should lose performance with a DL route vs a created one.
However, if the route you DL has lots of objects, you may notice poorer performance if your system is marginal, or your TS settings are too high.
