What do I mean by the title? Well, Norfolk Southern's gone and purchasing some more second-hand power. They're moved on from former CITX, FURX, CEFX, HLCX, BNSF and BN SD40-2's to ex-BNSF and ex-New York, Susquehanna and Western SD75M's. The NYSW SD75M's will be numbered 2779-2781 and the Ex-BNSF will be numbered 2800-2806. Worth noting about he SD40-2s is one of the SD40-2's is ex-HLCX, ex-ex-BN #3528, which was used by Burlington Northern to test using LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) as fuel instead of diesel. It is easily identified by having distinct flared radiators from its time being powered by LNG.

The NYSW units are SD70M's, not SD75M's. They are also getting some BNSF SD60M's.

I took a second look at the website I go to the info from, nsdash9.com, and it does show that the NYSW's are SD70M's, but it shows the BNSF's are SD75M's.

Edit: I just scrolled down and I just noticed that NS is getting the SD60M's. The SD60M's will be numbered 6807-6815. I don't know for certain, but they could be rebuilt into more SD60E's.
