Products Window Empty?

I select a hopper car with "?". There I see that only coal is available. I want to load limestone. So, I click the + beside the coal. I thought that I should get a list of other products that I could load. However, the Products Window is empty. Tried similar things on several other cars but always get an empty Products window???

Check if you are getting any script errors at the same time.

If you are, there are 3 possible causes:

1.One or more of your commodities is faulty, or has a faulty dependency.
2.One or more of your commodities has a missing dependency.
3.One or more of your commodities is for a later version of Trainz.

To check for 1 and 2, you may need to open all your locally installed commodities for edit, then immediately recommit them. Note that some built-in commodities will not commit, and will need to be reverted.

There is a thread about this problem which is affecting some but not others after the hotfix, not affected me yet however see here http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=81803

Malc,
Just a thought, is your 10+12 on a seperate drive from your O/S, I'm guessing Snipers is, as is my 2010.
We have a product list, others do not.
Sniper runs xp sp3 so no UAC problem. My UAC's turned off plus trainz is away from my O/S. My OS is win7.

Well in my case fixing or deleting a few faulty commodities restored a full list of products.

Thanks

Two PC's running Win7, Separate drives for 10 and 12 no UAC.

Check you commodities in cmp. If there is 2 of the same item you'll get a blank box in game. Delete one of the doubles and it'll come back (I've delt with this before. :) )

Guessing wrong, I have only one hard drive installed at the moment so OS, page file, and all trainz versions are on C:\. What would help, you guys getting this problem try installing a new version of TS2010 in a different folder, patch that to 44088. Copy that entire folder to a backup, then copy the UserData folder from your faulty 49933 folder to the 44088 folder. Now check to see if you get the same problem in 44088, if you do that confirms the problem is a faulty asset rather than the patch, if you don't then the most likely problem is some asset that works okay in 44088 but something in 49933 doesn't like that asset.

Dick, you got a probable culprit as to the faulty commodity?

I did not take note of the specific bad ones. I just set a filter and deleted the faulty. One was Flour which I fixed since I wanted that one.
May have been a total of about 8. I have latest TS2012 patch. Also, have TS2010 on a separate disc/k but never looked at its product list..

Was a load of new or maybe DLS fixed products appeared a few days back if I remember correctly? Wonder if working ones has been replaced by faulty ones?
