Problems with Planet Auran

I know many folk want me to upload to the DS but I cannot due to serious problems getting into my detail on Planet Auran.
Very often after I open the DS pages and click the Planet Auran marker at the bottom I get 'No connection'. Try again and it comes up but then after getting My Content up clicking on any button such as Upload nothing happens or I get a blank menu page with 'no connection' again. Plainly there is a connection and when I run diagnostics that claims everything is fine so it isn't this end.

I have tried and tried this but have not had any luck so any help or advice would be appreciated.

I can confirm that the web-based method works as I used it early this morning and my content was approved already. I've never been able to use CMP successfully that I can recall, however, even without getting error messages. I just assumed that functionality was dodgy if not broken.

I'm finding browser related difficulties more common recently, and have experienced the same myself, especially when trying to download assets from across the pond. Some browsers seem to work better than others. I've heard great reliability from those using Chrome, but I detest Chrome.

This is the web based method, I rarely if ever use CMP to do an upload. That is why I said Planet Auran which is where all your detatils are including My Content.
In fact I did state 'My Content' in my post.

Yes Angela, but you're still using a browser to connect to the web, are you not? I suggest that you try using different browser before declaring it impossible.

Ah, sorry. Yeah, I've noticed the latest Firefox (14.0.x) is a lot sketchy, FWIW. Especially, hyperlicks are not clickable. Happened yesterday when I tried to renew my FCT. No problems with Opera though. Perhaps that's worth a try, Angelah? It's a good brower.

Hi,
I use IE7 (I think, get a bit confused with them as they are always updating numbers) and everything else worked, all web sites etc.

But good news, the very next morning it was back up and running with reasonable connections although a couple of uploads did not get the 'Upload successful' bit at the end so I waited, and waited... and then just click Back.
A whole raft of stuff I tried to upload several times before so before I did it all again I went through every config to be sure it was okay for TC3, that is a 2.8 version number.
Time will now tell...

Thanks to all for trying to help.
