Hi has anybody had any problems with glasgow queens street 2012. I have just downloaded it and found lots of faults with it , sections of track missing at every station, station missing at Dulmuir jct, Kilpatrick track and station missing, track fading on parts of the route, has anybody else had the same problem and can it be fixed. Hope somebody can help. Thank you.

yeah i also have some invisble stations missing & abit of track missing aswell looks like maybe content that was removed & they forgot to replace it i'm guessing it's not hard to place some new ones in there but also might pay to e-mail the twins & let them know :)

i'm downloading the session kuid:44528:100064 it looks like they have the missing content in the session when i finish downloading the content for the session & having a look at it i'll let ya know :)

I can confirm that nearly all of the stations as well as some platforms and other assets on the Glasgow Queens Street route have been added to the session not the route. This has been mentioned in the thread for the route in the Freeware section and the Twins who are the creators of the route and session are looking into the situation.
Unfortunatley it is not a simple case of merging the session with the route because this will move all the consists to the route as well making it difficult to make new sessions without a lot of editing. Also you cannot simply add stations to the route unless it is being done on a new route because any new stations will mess up the existing session.
Keep an eye on the thread in the Freeware section for any new route and session.

if i remember rightly it's not that hard to do all that is needed to do is merging the session with the route then save them both then go in to the route not the session & delete the rolling stock then save it easy & then go back in to the session the save it. i've done this in the past

I know it is very simple to merge sessions and routes, I have done it a few times myself when I have accidently placed things in the session layer when they should have been on the route layer; but have you actually seen how many consists there are on this session and the very long lists of commands that are in the session rules. I have removed consists in a merged route and session and if there is a lot then it becomes quite tedious removing them and adding them back to the session. As I have said in this case there are great many consists with very long list of commands that will all need to be removed to give a clean route. It can be done but all I am saying is be prepared for a long session of editing.

well at the and of the day it doesn't bother me i was only testing it out for Mallard2007 trying to help out anyways i can :) & for what he wanted it all works fine with the layout if you install the session aswell

Fair comment and as you say you answered Mallard2007 question which is the important thing.

I just thought it worth warning others who might want to make there own session that they are in for quite a bit of work until the twins come up with a revised route and session.

agree :) & good luck to them i know how it feels i'm also fixing the SARN4T layout as i know these alot of problems with the last version i've uploaded we going thro it & makking sure it's all A1 before we release the fixed version :)
