Problems with DS

Hi all,
I am having problems Uploading asest... cannot find the site, if I do long delays then get dropped out.
Anybody else finding this please?

If I have problems getting to the site from the DLS, I use this link:

http://www.auran.com/trainz/contentcreation.htm

Then click on "Planet Auran" at the bottom. It usually works even when the DLS is offline. Hope this helps.

Hi Dave,
Yes, that link worked a lot better, well, it worked ! I had a bit of trouble with the Standard Upload line but got that going eventually on each of the 6 uploads, so they have gone.

The kids on holidays have been doing other naughty things Angela. i suspect hacking. Trainz would be a prime target for them. I just had to alter my password because neither 2010 or 2012 CM would log on. Yet they had no problem 30mins before.

There does seem to be some problem with the DLS servers.

Both 2010 & 2012 are having porblems logging on, 2012 just told me my user/password is wrong.

Either hackers or server problems at work.

Testing

I have to use a version of Trainz to test my buildings I make in gmax, usually TC 1 & 2.
CMP has the habit of checking your ID when it starts and because the link to Auran is either dead slow or Stop, it take ages or I get the message I haven't registered, my username and number are invalid etc, and this is after a long wait. It wastse my time having to go through this performance every time I go in and come out of Trainz and having to keep entering numbers is annoying when I know full well they are valid and correct.
It is so bad at times I have to reboot the PC to get a connection to Auran so TC will allow me in, and I find that completely unacceptable, especially when every other site in the world is working just fine and dandy.
It's high time Auran got this act together in my opinion.
Last night it took me quite a few hours of fiddling about to get 6 assets to go up to the DS, and then I noticed that one I sent 2 days before was still sitting in the pending section, nothing had been done at all.
Do Auran actually want content creators? I am seriously beginning to wonder. There are alternative sites to upload content to that work very quickly, but I am trying to remain loyal here, after all I have had Trainz versions since the original Trainz. However, the powers that be are making it extremely difficult.

Further, they seem to have ground to a halt processing assets now as well.... So I am revamping my assets as 2004 content ready to go up elsewhere.
