Problem with TS09

Did you follow the instructions in the e-mail message you received with the CD Key to the letter? The message gave specific directions and sequence for setting up the TR2009 Beta at Auran and on your machine so it would work properly. Also don't forget to turn off any antivirus application or other applications when installing.

Yes, I followed all the instructions. It shouldn't be showing this message, when I tried entering a false CD Key, it wouldn't let me get into the game. When I entered the key exackly (starting with BETA), I could get into the game, but then error came straight up. "CD Key invalid or corrupted installation"
I am sure I installed correctly, and re-installed a few times to ensure it would install smoothly and it did.

If you are using Vista, make sure you have Administrator rights. Also, try copy and paste to enter the CD key.

You will be issued a new CD key when the gold version of the game arrives.
EDIT: To clarify, when you paid for the retail (gold) version of TS2009 you got access to the beta. This will expire towards the end of November and you will receive the gold version of the game either on DVD or through a digital download, depending on which version you chose when you purchased. You will receive a new CD key for the gold version with the gold version. I suggest you wait for the gold version and see if that works, instead of getting a refund.

There have been a few reports of the downloaded files being corrupted.
It is a large download, so I guess it is possible.
Try downloading again.
I don't think you'll get a refund for the Beta .....

That's a bit like asking "will the new colour TV programs appear in colour on my black & white TV". You get backwards compatibility but not the other way around. New file formats and new features ensure that new routes won't work in the old versions.
Yeah....Then the fun of it trying to transfer all the 90+GB worth of stuff that I have......

You could try going to an Internet cafe and seeing if you can download there and burn to a DVD. Or ask a friend with good bandwidth to download and burn a DVD for you.
I to am having this extra same problem, has anyone been able to sort out what this problem is. Is it the CD key, or is it a corrupted install??
