Problem Saving Routes

I have a question about saving my routes in Trainz 2006. I opened trainz 2006 up and everything is ok. I start creating my own route. After I was done I saved the route with everything else on it including the default engine and cars that came with the game. After I save it I go back to the main menu close out Trainz 2006 and later I open Trainz 2006 again and try finding my route I saved in Surveyer or Driver and the route is not in menu. This happens every time I close Trainz 2006 and reopen it. So does anybody know what the issue is?

When your route menu opens, click on the star up in the left hand corner. Then select "show all routes", not just the favorites. Your route should then show up..Hope this helps....

Are you using Windows Vista or Windows 7?

If you are, it sounds like you are not running Trainz as administrator.

To enable this:

1.Right-click the Trainz shortcut.
2.Click Properties.
3.Click Compatibility.
4.Click in the box labelled 'run this program as an administrator' to place a tick.
5.Click OK.

there is no star deal in trainz 06...I just looked

Thanks. This worked. Now I can save my routes with out them dissapearing.
