Problem loading 2010 from disk

I have been unable to get 2010 to load from the disk I received just before Christmas. I tried two computers, a Dell 530 with 2200 processor and an older Toshiba laptop. In both cases response was erratic but sometimes said "unable to write to temporary file". Other times My Computer locked up.

I notified V3F and got no response.

Any suggestions?

I too get an error (1117) on install, +I can't open the link

I too just received my DVD in the mail and was trying to install TRS2010EE on my PC.

My PC ran for a few minutes without any notification of what it was doing and then displayed an error (#1117) that said sonething about an I/O error.

I have 2GB of RAM and hundreds of GB of free space.

Any ideas???

No you do not have to remove additional installs. These can live safely on the same drive with TS2010.

See the thread/sticky at the top of the forum regarding bad disks. This has been a problem and Auran is aware of it. Post to that forum post regarding your disk issue so Auran can track it and send you new disks.

Also remove your email address from the posts. This is not a good thing to do unless you want spam. There are bots that troll the forums looking for open addresses to steal and sell off to spamongers.

Install error resolved by issue of relacement disks.

Auran repsonded stating that they will send me new DVD disk including SP1.
