problem, i need help, the ground is gone 2010 edition

hey is there anyone out there that has this problem, i have trainz 2010, the ground disappeared, i don't mean when you go to grid mode, its just gone, i can go through where the ground would be and it won't let me add new stuff to may sayvayor?

Try messing with the Terrain features, like a mountain or valley. sometimes something similar happens to me (in small squares) and it usually fixes it self like that.

Happens to me all the time. Seems to be a memory or complexity issue because it usually doesn't happen on blank boards or nearly blank boards; ones heavily populated with scenery, though, are much more prone. The only real remedy is to go somewhere else and go back; hopefully all boards will be redrawn. It helps to navigate slowly i.e. not to move around Surveyor or Driver too quickly.

I've had this problem too in Trainz 2010, I found it was a problem with the "autosave" feature, if you set "autosave" to off, you lose the baseboard in surveyor, so I have reset the "autosave" function to one hour, and that seemed to fix the problem, I now have my baseboard back.

You might have to exit Trainz 2010, and then go back in for the baseboard to show up again, also, as said in above posts, make sure no faulty content is on your route, as baseboards can disapear in the distance.
