Prjindigo"s Old EMD's

Anyone remember Prjindigo's reskinnable EMD's from a long time ago? I found them on the DLS recently and have interest in reskinning them. The only thing I have a problem with is the large black smoke plume that eminates from most of them, even when they're not moving. I was wondering if anyone knew which smoke attachment to remove in order to get this ALCO like behavior to stop. Any help is much appreciated.

I believe Dave Snow re-issued several of these, on the DLS. I don't know if he changed the smoke values or not, but it's worth a look. I don't know if deleting the attachment point is all together is a good idea, you may want to just adjust the color values in the smoke containers.

Problem with the DLS for me is I can't download anything newer than TRS2004 content, and Dave is TS2009 and up. Sometimes when I an making a "scrap" reskin of a steam engine I remove all the smoke points and it works out fine.

Just tone down the smoke settings..... here's a tutorial I found when I was adding smoke and engine sounds to my refrigerated cars.

Delete the "Exhaust" text in the config, i.e.:

These are the lines that make all the smoke. For my money, I happen to like all that smoke.

Thanks for the info. I'm fine with the rather gray exhaust that occurs when the throttle notch is increased, but I just can't get used to the constant plume of black smoke.
