Post Processing - Low, High, Ultra

When running TRS 2019 what difference does it make on the graphics when running "low" versus "high" versus "ultra" settings? Is performance (frame rate) different between the three options. The Wiki on the subject has lots of words but really doesn't address the visual differences one would notice in the game. I generally run my setting at "high". What am I missing by not using the "ultra" setting?

The easiest way to tell is to test it. A lot of hardware can run "ultra" well, so the chances are you won't even suffer for it.

Ultra turns up the quality of various effects, and enables some effects (or parts of effects) which are disabled at lower settings due to performance concerns on some hardware.

In some cases, people also prefer to run without the full range of effects, in which case they may opt to use a lower detail setting even where performance is not a concern. We've adjusted ultra to bring out what we believe to be the most realistic result in the widest range of conditions, but obviously there's no true "one size fits all" solution.
