Points aren't snapping together

I've made a brand new template with attached tracks. The track attachment points I made in Blender were named a.track1f, a.track1b, a.track2f, and a.track2b. The AJS Track Eraser connects and is correctly in place, but they don't connect to other spline points, on scenery objects. The FT series of straight track in the scenery tab can connect to almost any other scenery object's track points. However, the FT objects only fit and snap into place on one side of my track template. It's the same case for connecting my template to waygauges, level crossings, and AJS Terminal Template. Why is this?

It has to be configured as kind "fixedtrack".

Whenever I set it as that, the spline and road attachment points that were at a height all go to ground level...
