Go to the screen with the 8 buttons (the start-up screen). Go to options and find where to enter your username+password. Once you did that, you will find a patch button; try that.
If that does not work, you can also manually patch.
I found that provided I entered my username and Password I got all the patches automatically. You will find the patches in these forums but dont be put off by the reference to TS2010. They are TS12 patches which will take you up to 49922
