Welcome to Trainz and a world where a simulator will overtake reality!

Use the filter to search for content in Surveyor. This is the small tornado-shaped icon on the bar in the left middle area.

Open that up and type in container station. There's one built-in to Trainz.

The other thing you can do, is use what is called a multiple industry. This is an invisible fixed-track that can be virtually any industry you wish. You setup the industry in your sessions, configuring the type of commodities it is supposed to produce and or accept. There are then certain freight wagons that only carry those commodities, and you can then either visit the industry yourself, or assign an AI driver to do this for you.

If you setup a plastics plant, for example, there are plenty of industrial buildings that look like modern plastic plants and there are plenty of industrial silo blocks as well.

Put down the buildings how you like them.
Put down a multiple industry track, and rename it to your industry such as Plastik Parts, Incorporated.

Go into your session, after saving everything, and setup the commodities to accept plastic pellets, and produce goods. You can then send in a freight local to drop off covered hoppers of plastic pellets and pick up boxcars full of finished goods.

I hope this explains what you want to do. Others have more experience with the multiple industries. I've used them a few different times, but I build more than I drive.

Thank you John

It is very helpful to introduce the filter to search for content and the multiple industry.
Otherwise, it would be difficult to find the specific industry from search content.

You're welcome. :)

The filter is great, but it doesn't replace the old categories that were once in the old TRS2004 and below. With the old categories, you could search for specific types of objects, and they were sorted by region. Anyone could setup a region, so the content creators setup their own regions, which made items even easier to find.

With the birth of Content Manager (CM), things changed. TRS2006 and above did not support the old categories and regions, so this old system is obsolete. The filter system, as we have it, works great, but it's sometimes too slow and we have to be way too specific in spelling and names in order to find content.
