Placing trainz on a map and moving around

How do you move around while placing trains? like when you are on the edit trains tab, and you place a train, you can move the arrows up or down to side to side to turn the camera, when you hit them keys, the thing in the edit trains moves up and down, and where you type in a name for a car to look for, that moves from left to right when ya type, is there an option where you can keep moving the camera around while placing trains on the map?

I click on the route quickly and use my right-mouse button to scoot around then go back and scroll the list again with my mouse wheel.
