Hehe he diddn't mean Modula City:p (If i read it right) Have a look at the last photo posted, See how everything is in Modules, Theres one square for trees, one for grass, one for a town. He's saying mix it up a bit not just blocks ( Or modules ) of land with something on them.

but, Iced. you aren't listening to anyone. The route needs some more work. It looks good for a start but it needs more. To release it as it is now would only clutter up the DLS. I'm not trying to be rude, but it is kinda boring looking. Making a route realistic takes time and energy and while i am sure that you put both in, it hasn't gotten there yet.

i am listening to people, but i have another route to start up.

the one in my home area.

all i've gotten down on the is two road splines and a crossing.

not to mention two track splines.
 
Then whats the need to release it? If its in a state like that i cant think of who would want to run it. Keep if for your personal collection. My first 5 or so routes are not going anywhere but my hard drive and i doubt they will be their for much longer either.

Route building is not for everyone. Trust me, I know. Take a look at these and you'll quickly understand why I choose to stay away from it. These were done way back in the UTC days.

I see nothing wrong with those shots....in the UTC days content was rather limited and route building is an art. I like to refer to early shots as primitives. I posted my primitives in the Noob Route Building Contest to prove a point. Route building improves over time part of that has to do with improving techiques of the builder, part has to do with improving content and, part has to do with improving technology. Someone said back in the old forum "Trainz would bring a Cray Computer to its knees" so at least speaking for my "primitive" routes a lot of choices had to do "will this last piece of content finally crash my computer for good?"

With all that said I understand route building isn't for everyone I really enjoy the content that you have made meridious. I tried to use Gmax and quickly realized I have zero talent to create content although I wish I did.

Anyway I have enjoyed you screenshots and would like to see other "primitives" from other members.:wave:

hence why many of us didnt make a thread for out first route, or release it.
Wait till you have something good to show then post it

Iced, I like your route building skills and all but I can't stand your attitude, you need to grow up. Nuff Said.
