I have two OK shots of some CN and CSX trains at crossings. But Ill have to go with this one.

Its a warm spring evening in mid Michigan. People are out grilling and relaxing after a hard days work on a Tuesday in may. A CN mixed freight slowly works its way North West into Davisburg. This was taken looking East on Clark Rd.

While the locomotive and infrastructure itself may not be particularly "modern", the way the load is carried is. DB Schenker 233 689-9 rolls to a stop in Tüßling, Bavaria with its intermodal loaded with trash to allow a local passenger train headed the other way for Mühldorf to come through, thus clearing the line ahead (single-track branch line). After the local passes it will continue on its way towards Traunstein.

KP Coal

This morning I bagged a Loaded Coal Train from Empire Mine, CO to Cora Docks, IL with 2 C44AC's on the front and one pushing on the end. This location is at milepost 303.64 on Union Pacific's Sharon Springs Subdivison sometimes called the Kansas Pacific.
