Wait for Random is a driver command that tells the train to wait for a random amount of time (in seconds) between a lower and upper limit. You would need to download and add the driver command to see what the options are though.

EDIT: If you want custom wait ranges, you also need the Worktable rule - read the WaitForRandom description for details on what has to be added.

Hi llebrez

Shane has it exactly right what for a random period of time, I use it to stop trains immediatly reacting to a signal I like to have a random period of time, 10 to 60 seconds before the train begins to pull, also good for other things of swtiching headlights on and off, and such things.

"Wait for trigger" I've never used it as it requries a train to trip it , I use "Wait for S Variables" which is a lot more powerful and can be related to so many other things especially if used with the "Skip to>" label if variable = is used as well allows some very complex situations to be setup

Pray tell us what the Insert Path command is used for and how it works. Is that one you have put together yourself?

And TPR Drive: is that similar to STW Drive?

Cheers - Trevor

Hi Trevor

ehehehe you would have to pick that one, its a cheat one that, Its for where I have to insert a path command into my commants depending on the train position, Its a work around for a place that the Navigate to trackmark won't work for some reason I cannot find, so I use the Inset Path as A place holder to remind me to put in a path command, I'm gonna have to make another one soon "Insert Copy Commands" to cover another situation I've got.

STW TPR Yup pretty much the same as far as I can tell.

Hi Reiscool

The Loco Sheds is a driver Command for opening and closing the shed doors, I had a few problems with script getting them to work in driver with a CTRL/click, I couldn't get the menu to display, so I made a driver command to get by until I'm skilled enough to sort the problem.

MOW (Maintance of Way) is a command to make scenery objects apear and disappear, Buy using a Skip if Variable Command, I have set up about 60 MOW Vehicles and personel around the route, that randomley appear and disapper only 5 to 10 at a time every half hour to and hour so every time you drive down the track MOW vehicles are in a different position doing there stuff.

The same princple is use for "Crew Watch", when a train is in a passing loop, and another train goes by The engineer leaves the cab and and stands outside the train and watches it go by (as in real life) looking for faulty or draging equipment.

Also for the the Crew Van when a crew change is needed its uses a similiar proceedure
