I have a small engine to which I added a.light0 in the mesh in the top view. In one map, when I press the L key, the ground in front of the engine lights up at night. When I place the same engine in another new map, nothing happens. Next I merged the two maps. The one where the light was working still works, the other instance of the same engine doesn't light up the ground.
Same engine, different map, different behavior. Same engine, same map, also different behavior. Tried re-installing the engine in CM, no change. Changed from OpenGL to DirectX, no change. Changed map region, no change. Don't want to delete the working engine for fear of the re-installed version not working.
Any ideas why this behavior? Any ideas where to look for a difference?
