Patching Question...

Right now I am re patching trainz to get 2010 back to it's new form! So I go from 44088 to 46170

I started here...
The Public Beta patch can be downloaded at the following location:

• http://download.ts2009.com/patch/44088_to_46170.exe (this file is 75,982,379 bytes.)

However, according to the next MP patch it goes from..

If you have trouble installing the auto-patch, a manual version can be downloaded here:
http://download.ts2009.com/patch/45467_to_45607.exe (6,718,391 bytes)

However I was reading then..
If you have trouble installing the auto-patch a manual version can be downloaded here:
http://download.ts2009.com/patch/45607_to_46170.exe (3,783,557 bytes)

So we end up going back to 46170? Do I need to even install the second patch?

46170 seems to be the latest build, the second one and third patches you mention seem to be irrelevant, if you are already at 46170 as you state above.

According to the MP thread.. there our 2 more patches to be downloaded.. However the end patch gets u back to 46170...

44088 is SP3 for 2010

You get the patch you used 44088 to 46170 on the wiki page...right? I believe that is the current patch, which circumvents the two listed on the announcements forum. I think previously you had to patch from 44088 to 45467 first.

You using 2010 ED? I got my Fast Ticket soo im SOO DOWN to start playing some MP, yes i got that from the wiki page.

Yes, I'm using 2010, but not interested in MP.

I think the patch on the wikipage is kept current (all inclusive from 44088 to the latest build), but the announcements page will list the patches for the new builds as they are made for each version.

That's my interpretation anyway...
