Patching from 41615 to 43434

I'm just running the 41615_to_43434.exe patch at the moment. It's stopped around 50% and doesn't seem to be doing anything. I have left it before asking for a bit of advice. It's been sat there around 50% for around the past hour.
What should I do?

Wait another hour....or two....or overnight. It will tend to hang at around 50% for a long time, but do not interupt it now, or else you'll have a re-install on your hands.

Do you know how long it usually takes? I hope the other patches don't take this long

Yes, Jumpy. Do not worry. Go hiking, shopping, strolling, writing your memoirs or painting the Sixtine Chapel.

The patch is fixing all your assets and files one after another. Then it will start redoing the database.

Everthing's going as usual, which is very unusual for software patching, if I'm allowed to say.

It'll depend on the amount of your local content. Everything will need to be patched. Hours, Jumpy, hours.

Once installed, treat your TS2010 with love and devotion, lest you have to re-install (meaning another pain in youknowwhere). :hehe:

Survey says....it depends on how much content you have. The patches didn't take long for me at all on a fresh, clean install, but some folks have had to wait upwards of 4 hours. Auran is famous for it's patches that stop in the middle, giving no indication whether they are still running or not.

It's just the original Trains 2010 Engineer without any additional content for now I'll just keep waiting but I do have to go sleep in about an hour for sixth form..

Not to sure why you are only patching to 43434 when you could have gone directly to 44088... http://download.ts2009.com/patch/41615_to_44088.exe - :wave: - Wouldn't hurt to register your TS2010, just in-case you need help-desk assistance...

I thought a user had to register to patch anyway - unless there's something I don't know.
