I live in Massachusetts and I happen to be situated near Pan Am Railways' Connecticut river valley division. I'm sure others who live in Maine, Vermont, and Connecticut may share my desire. I would like it if someone would please make some of these locomotives. Feel free to add to the list if you so desire.

There are some older Geeps and SD9s up on the DLS lettered for Guilford.

Look for the following authors:

davesnow (He makes lots of content including trains and locomotives, but specifically GP40-2w Guilford #515).

bobtrainz made a ton of reskins of SD40-2s, SW7s, GP38s. In order to find his assets, you will need to check all Trainz versions including TRS2004 in the DLS list if you go to http://dls.trainzportal.com/index.php (There's a big button at the top of the forums). You could always try searching in Content Manager, but sometimes the web search is faster...

To search for his assets, put Guilford Rail in the search box and check title.

As far as PAR equipment goes, there's not much up on the DLS yet. There's a boxcar or two. That said, Jointed Rail has made a nice payware PAR SD40-2 lettered for the MEC.

If you are interested in MBTA equipment, there are some older Horizon cars lettered for the MBTA and Jointed Rail has a payware F40ph in three different liveries.

Their website is www.jointedrail.com In order to browse you need to sign up which is free. The content costs around $10.00 or less and is worth the money spent on the quality of the models.

The lessor units will also be found on JR and perhaps the DLS, but JR is probably your best bet. They do have some freeware locos as well, but I can't remember if there are any of these in there.

On the DLS, if you are interested, there is some old B&M EMD GP7s, GP9s and even some old Budd RDCs, and some MEC locos and equipment as well.

I hope this helps as I too live not too far on the old B&M Western Division, and I too am always looking for "local" equipment. I grew up next to the Bradford yard (now MBTA parking) and this became my introduction to everything trains as my dad an I watched the old B&M switcher shuffle cars about and then down the now defunct Georgetown branch.

Would point me to the SD40-2 on Jr? I'm not smart enough to find it! Just like a key word or a something to get me there.
