Missing Dependencies Found!
There is a site called "Amtrak Geek Zone." They have plenty of dependencies relating to Amtrak trains, including some dependencies for the P42 "Genesis" locomotive. I highly recommend visiting that site. If that doesn't work, try contacting anyone who owns a P42 locomotive (for trainz of course!

The ones from ProTrainz, there is a message where you download it about missing items and config changes that need to be done for them to work. Until you do that, they won't show. There are posts here about this issue, I forget where but a search for "P42 ProTrainz" should find them.
is this a clue to the issue?

"If you use any of these in a session, you might receive a "content not found" error from Trainz. Many (if not all) contain an item in their KUID tables, KUID 52779:53000, which is not included (and in fact is not used by these assets). You should be able to fix this by removing that KUID from the KUID table."
if so pls advise on what i need to to to fix this.

I tried a few times, double clicked on the .cmp file and it opened content manager and showed asset added. Also wen to file and open from the content manager and opened the genesis.cmp file and it said asset added. When I look in the added tab and sort by date added I even saw the pack as installed with the days date bu when I go to the rail yard its no where to be found...
amtrak or via?
i know there is an amtrak one on the DLS, and i think there is a via one there too.
