Overview Map

Is there a way of printing a layout map of my route? I have added so many industries that I forget what is where. So an overview map with notes would be very handy.

I support this question. There was a third party prgm wich served this item for TRS2006.
As I remember it was called Trainzmap110. made by an Italian (lost his name) and showed very detailed maps. It doesnt work under the new trainz 2009/2010 /12. I tried to contact him, but without result.
So If there is someone who has the knowledge to make such a prgm. Please come forward.

Is anyone else having trouble downloading this from the TPR site?

The add-on from TPR is called the Trainz Map Viewer. You can find it here: http://trainzproroutes.com/downloads/index.php?act=view&id=1387

It works in TS2010, unless you have a very large map.

You'll need to log in before downloading.

Where are the maps stored?

I downloaded the Trainz Map Viewer from TPR and it lists all routes I have installed, but it cannot find a map in any of them? Sure I am missing something!?

G'day,
Maybe it is time for N3V to step forward and create a reliable way for the routes to be printed so that the trainz user (N3V customer) can use this to enhance there use/enjoyment of the sim, currently map printing is just too hit and miss.

Gremlin, I completly agree with you. They had it with 2006, they should add a downloadable progam for the newer versions. Even if I had to pay for it, I would get it.

Yes but the one for TRS06 was created by a third party not N3V and as N3V have changed the sim so much I think they should come to the party on this one, as TS09 & TS10 are still supported it should work for them as well as TS12.

Print Maps in TS12

I am new to Trainz with my purchase of TS12.
I have also purchased the android version for my tablet.

All in all the programs are great. Just one problem when you get to my age is remembering where certain tracks take you.

It would be nice just to be able to print out the track layout so you can see what it looks like instead of having to using the built-in map viewer.
(Which by the way doesn't work properly in the android version. It hangs after the first view.)

I have now taken to trying to take photos of the screen map layout and then trying to patch them together.

Would be happy to pay for some add-on or anything else that would help.
