Overpassing Updating Trainz Asset DataBase

Hi:

I'm in creating a new route and the many times (more thn 50%) when I lauch Trainz it starts with the "Updating Trainz Asset DataBase" process consuming more than 10 minutes. Can I overpassing it,? How?

The only way of preventing it is to allow TADDaemon to close properly after Trainz closes.

Shane's right. I had this problem quite often. The way I do this (allow TADDaemon to close properly after Trainz closes) is to wait about 5 minutes after closing the program before turning off the computer.

It can take up to three minutes for TADDaemon to finish after exiting Trainz. Best thing to do is call up the Windows Task Manager, tab to the processes page, look for the programme in the list and wait until it disappears.

Cancelling a rebuild not recommended as Trainz still won't open afterwards. Best case it will just run the process again when you next start Trainz, worst case you might brick your install and any work you've been doing.

Or ticking the (box) show database process window, taddeamon then shows in the task bar and when that closes you know it's safe to shut the computer down.

I always wit until TADDamon finishes, In "Options" following your indications for previous problem,I hev selected "Show Database poecess window"and I ait until thi indow is closed

In that case, I would suggest you check for faulty assets. Faulty assets in certain situations can cause TADDaemon to crash unexpectedly.
