overclock not recognized by trainzdiag

hey guys. so i got my core i5 2500k up to 4.5ghz stable and with wonderful temps under load. however, even tho cpuz sees it as 4.5ghz, trainzdiag still reads as default clock speeds, 3.31ghz. am i missing something as to why trainzdiag doesn't read the correct speed?

It probably doesn't measure it directly but queries the operating system. I wouldn't worry about it if it's overclocking then you'll get better performance however there are reliability issues to think consider.

thx for the reply john. i assumed that it would've played at the o/c'ed speed, even tho it wasn't reading it out.
