opening .rar files in content manager

Does anyone know how I can open third party content with a .rar file in the content manager. Must be simple but I can`t figure it out.

I dont think .rar files are to do with trainz. If im right in thinking its Railworks, but could be MSTS. Where did you download it?

.RAR files must be extracted first (they are like .zip files)

Once the file is extracted/unpacked, the method of importing depends on the contents of the .rar file.

WinRAR or 7-zip are good for this - there are other tools, but these two I've used and get on well with.

Download winRAR, install it. You can then r/click on the rar file and select extract here (desktop).
Then use cm to import the content.
