If you've been following this : I've now installed my new version trs2006 with sp1 inc and transfered my old trs2006 local folder and all works fine....but after playing on a layout for 10mins or 5 hours when I save it and then go back to it, it crashes ( hardware violation ) within minutes of playing and I don't know why.
The only thing I've noticed is that when the cmp rebuilt my assets I don't have the Bukka ( is it ? ) file in the cache folder anymore, could this have something to do with it ? and if so how do I get this file back. Hope this makes sense, any advice appreciated

Hello

Did you run TrainzDiag to see if your PC passed all the tests to run Trainz? C:\Program Files\Auran\TRS2006\Bin\TrainzDiag
What's your PC Spec?
Try deleting assets.tdx and assets.bku files then CMP will re-build the database.
Their are several threads on the forum for the hardware violation error:

Hi Ahsan
I think you have misread my post, its the bukka file that dooes not rebuild, I have deleted the assets file but when it rebuilds only the asset file is there, not the bukka file. I've read various threads but I cannot see one that covers this point.
Thanks for your trouble anyway
PJ

The Cache.bku file is not necessary, and will not affect the operation of the game as you describe.

Hi Euphod
Thanks thats what I didn't know, so I'm back to square one not knowing why only my saved sessions are crashing ???

Have you ran TrainzDiag as Ahsan has suggested ???

Well if you haven't, you should ! This is the first place to look to make certain your system is current !
